Hmm. It's January 19th, 2017. I think I missed some pretty big events in the last 8 years.
I didn't see those FEMA Death Camps. Did I miss it? Mass gun confiscations? I guess I missed those, too. Sharia Law in home town 'Murica? Yup, that one seems to have slipped by me. Oh, and Death Panels for Senior Citizens? I think I blinked. I really must not have been paying attention in the last eight years.
Then again,while the Tin-Foil Hat Brigade was freaking out about all of those non-issues, did you know that between the Patriot Act and the NDAA of 2012, the POTUS has the power of a dictator? The power to suspend the checks and balances of of the three branches of government for the safety of the homeland is available to the President. Just imagine, if by chance, we were to get a POTUS who was vindictive. A man with impulse control issues. A narcissist with sociopathic tendencies, or a pathological liar. Just imagine what someone like that would do with that power.
Guess we dodged a bullet.
